Oppo Australia is set to launch a new budget android smartphone called Oppo A53 on 25th of August, 2020. According to what we gathered from reliable sources, Oppo A53 price in Australia is expected to be about AU$230 Australian dollar. The A53 will feature a triple rear camera sensor, a 6.5-inch punch-hole display, plus many other interesting features which we are going to reveal below.
Oppo A53 will come with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a punch-hole housing the front-facing camera upfront. The phone will be equipped with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels which offers an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a density of 270 ppi. The screen supports 90Hz refresh rate.
In terms of cameras, Oppo A53 will feature a 16MP main camera; a second 2MP lens, and a third 2MP lens, which makes it a triple camera setup at the back panel. The front is expected to pack a 16MP lens for super clear selfie shots.
As far as performance is concerned, Oppo A53 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chipset, supported by Adreno 610 GPU. Oppo Australia confirmed that the Oppo A53 will be available in just 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant. The storage capacity can also be expanded via microSD card. The device runs ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 SoC.
Battery and Connectivity
Oppo A53 is expected to launch with a 5000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. The phone supports 18W fast charge technology.
The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v5.0, A-GPS, NFC, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, USB On-The-Go, and many sensors such as Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
